Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often from buyers, sellers, and investors.

Do I pay Meridian Estates directly as a buyer?

In most transactions, buyer representation is compensated through the transaction itself, not billed directly to you. We'll walk through exactly how compensation works for your specific situation before you sign anything.

How is your commission structured for sellers?

Our listing commission is agreed in writing before your property goes on the market and is detailed in our Terms & Payment Policy. There are no hidden fees beyond what's specified in your listing agreement.

Do you work with out-of-state or international buyers?

Yes — a large share of our clients are relocating or investing from outside Florida. We regularly coordinate virtual tours, remote closings, and power-of-attorney arrangements.

How long does a typical sale take?

It varies by neighborhood and price point, but most well-priced Miami listings we represent go under contract within 30–60 days. We'll give you a realistic estimate based on comparable sales during your consultation.

Do you handle rentals as well as sales?

Yes, our team handles both long-term and furnished short-term rentals, including tenant screening and lease coordination for landlords.

Is my information kept confidential?

Yes. We handle financial and personal details with discretion and never share them beyond what's necessary to complete a transaction. See our Privacy Policy for details.
